Again, in my Quality of Life engineering class we had another guest speaker. This guy was a quadriplegic. He was more abled in terms of his speaking than the guy with CP. As he was speaking about how he wants to throw a football around with his 2 sons I ended up paying attention more to his tone of voice and his body language. I came to the conclusion that he was genuinely happy with himself.
I can’t imagine myself becoming disabled at the age of 15 like him. I’m sure it was hard for him in the beginning but as he was speaking to us he seemed like he was on top of the world.
Anyways my realization is that to be truly happy you have to accept you are. thats some hard shit.

Javier is one of the most underrated R&B artist. It’s a shame he didn’t get big. Gotta give him some exposure. He is an amazing artist.
“Have u ever known a girl that can make your world go in slow motion”
Real.
so today in my Innovation of the Quality of Life class we talked with a person who had Cerebral Palsy. im sitting here thinking to myself, dang i should be thankful more often. this guy lives a normal life. he definitely has motivated me to strive to do great things. this dude has his own business, a girlfriend, and a legit wheelchair haha.
Im not trying to poke at him. I am just genuinely admiring how technology has progressed in assistive technologies. definitely something i wouldn’t mind working with this kind of stuff. rehabilitation engineering is some legit stuff :)
